Dear Western Regional Early Intervention Colleagues,

It was good to see many of you at the wonderful Western Regional Early Intervention Conference (WREIC) in Colorado last September. Thanks to our Colorado hosts for such a fabulous conference. At the conference it was announced that the next conference would be held in Salt Lake City in 2021. Little did we know how all of our lives and work would soon be impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

In considering how the pandemic has affected all our lives and our agencies capacities, the WREIC planning team has been busy developing virtual content to support your work now. So instead of one big event in 2021, WREIC will be a series of virtual sessions focusing on the current needs of providers and families beginning November 2020 (see below).

We hope you can join with us in learning about these timely topics. The WREIC planning committee is busy finalizing plans for 2021 offerings which will begin in January. We'll send out dates and topics as soon as they are finalized.
